FNF Remnants dropped in February 2026 and immediately caught the community's attention with its sheer volume of content and distinctive visual identity. With a total of 35 songs, this is easily one of the most content-packed FNF MODs available right now. The minimalist art style reworks every character and stage to fit a cohesive aesthetic that personally I find really appealing — it's clean, stylish, and instantly recognizable.

Content & Special Features

Beyond the massive tracklist, what makes Remnants stand out is the attention to detail. Every song has its own custom intro sequence, and there are personalized death and score animations that add a lot of personality to each encounter. The MOD doesn't just remix the base game either — it features special battles against characters like Hex and Huggy Wuggy, plus some really creative crossover moments. My personal highlight is the remix of Grieving, where you get to witness Mommy vs Daddy Dearest from the Divorce MOD going at it — it's a wild ride.

About FNF Remnants

Funkin' Remnants started as a gimmick account on Twitter dedicated to archiving old and unused content from Friday Night Funkin'. The team eventually turned that concept into a fully fledged remix mod featuring many unused elements that had been covered on their social media. The wireframe art style is designed to recapture the simpler vibes of older popular remix mods from the early FNF modding scene. The mod works on V-Slice 0.8.1, and the developers have confirmed they will update the modpack if future FNF versions break compatibility.
